F. J. Jones has resided in Rosharon, Texas since 2004. Before relocating, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral and Social Science from Felician University. Following her arrival to the Houston area, she pursed her Master’s Degree in Education at the University of Saint Thomas, which she obtained in 2008. Since that time she has been in the employ of Houston ISD as an Educational Diagnostician, assessing students with Special Needs. F.J. has been married for 15 years and is the mother of two teenage boys.
Currently, F. J . Jones Chairs the Brazoria County Chapter of the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats, Secretary of the Pearland MLK Celebration Committee, Secretary of the Lakes of Savannah HOA and serves as an Elected Official on the Board of Directors for Municipal Utility District #21. It is her intention to become the FIRST African American Woman to be elected to the position of Brazoria County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4. In light of her recent retirement announcement, I would like to thank Judge Sharon Fox for her service to Brazoria County, especially to the citizens of Precinct 4. Judge Fox has served in the Justice of the Peace position for more than two decades. She has served the community well, and I wish her and family the best.
